I just want to thank you both for all you contributed to last night's event (Evolution of the Blues XIV at Santa Rosa Junior College). I have to say that of all the shows we've put on in this series, (and we've had a lot of the greats) Ron's show was the most amazing. It will definitely live on in people's memories for a long time. I can't thank you enough! A great pleasure working with both of you!!

  ++ Ron's one of my all time favorite guitar players. I've known Ron over 30 years. Maybe 40 years. Long enough to know that in all that time, every time I heard him play, it was always a treat to hear. I'm glad to call him a friend.

  ++ I've had the pleasure of seeing Ron on the 2007 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, of which he did wonderful performances! Following that cruise, Mr. Thompson was a 'special' guest during the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue show at the Horseman's Club near downtown Sacramento ...he stole the show! I observed Tommy Castro saying "Wow" after watching this man do his thing.
If given the chance, do not hesitate to catch him in a club near you!
