Eye C Snakes is a Pittsburgh based Rock band that has been in the east coast and Midwest club scene for the past four years. The band features the brother-sister team of Danielle and David Barbe on vocals and lead guitar, Mike Dugan on rhythm guitar, Eric Hundenkski on bass, all from the greater Pittsburgh area. The band's distinct writing style and sound musicianship is evidenced through their songs, with Danielle's unique voice and stage presence giving the band a flavor of their own.
In 2006, Eye C Snakes signed a recording & production deal with renowned Grammy nominated engineer/producer David Ivory who is known for his work with Silvertide (J-Records), Halestorm (Atlantic), The Roots, Kindred, Erykah Badu, Patti Labelle, etc. While working with David Ivory, the band has written and recorded several songs, and continue growing as musicians and writers.
Eye C Snakes has also been featured at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah, which was the highlight of their 2009 tour. Eye C Snakes was able to share the stage at the world famous Harry O’s with artists such as The Cult, Camp Freddy, Billy Gibbons, Nick Cannon, T.I., Matisyahu, along with many others. The band played on both opening night and Inauguration Day in front of a sell out crowd.
