CoCo McMillan

Stellar Award Nominee CoCo McMillan is a native of St. Pauls, NC and received her BA in Criminal Justice from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. In 2016 CoCo was inductee to the Shaw University Hall of Fame .
CoCo won the "Next Gospel Star Competition" in Raleigh NC. This experience led her to sharing the stage with Kim Burrell, Shirley Caesar, Michael Buble’, Michael Jackson and other great artist. CoCo was a background singer for the late Gerald Levert for 11 years, as well as Aaliyah, Mikki Howard and the O’Jays. In 2006, she shared her talent on BET, TV-One Network & WRAL. CoCo's extraordinary melodious voice and stage presence captured the attention of Dr. Bobby Jones at the International Gospel Retreat in Las Vegas, NV and Miami, FL. He was so impressed by her performance Dr. Jones invited her to appear on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show (BET) and the Worldwide Network Retreat. She continued her journey on the Women Who Jam tour sponsored by NABFEME. CoCo has also completed International assignments in Morocco Africa, performing at several prestige events at the Selman Palace & the Sofitel Hotel for the King and royal families. In 2015, CoCo was a contestant on BET’s Sunday Best Race for the Stage.
CoCo is the first to admit that she has been truly blessed and not able to accomplish her goals without trusting and depending on God. CoCo keeps her faith intact as a member of Mitchiner's Grove Baptist Church in Franklinton NC where the Rev. Melvin Jackson is her pastor. CoCo provides spiritual leadership and oversight to a comprehensive youth ministry focusing on building Christian community faith and mission experience. CoCo's experience brings creativity, inspiration and leadership to grow youth ministries to its next level. CoCo has been both a mentor and teacher for the youth of the church for 11 years. She is the proud owner of the Koffee Kafe’ located in Cary, NC ‘s North Academy Street Amtrak station.

CoCo was nominated for the Stellar Awards, New Artist of the year for the album “I’ve been Delivered”. This album was managed by King Size Gospel, and features Grammy Award winner “Gerald Levert”. She is currently working on her new project scheduled to be released in 2020.
