• BIO:
Acoustic blues and roots artists, Don Scott and Rosanne Licciardi rock their fans with their unique blend of blues, rock, jazz, country, swing and Zydeco on the Fantasia sailing yacht in Zihuatanejo, Mexico where they've been playing standing gigs for the past six years.

Scott, a disabled Vietnam veteran, plays guitar, slide, harmonica, sings and writes his own music, peppering sweet instrumentals with songs of justice. A well-known name in the upper Midwest as founder of the legendary Dust Bowl Blues Band, and also as a solo performer, Scott has shared the stage with many blues greats during his 50-year career. He has 8 CD's to his credit and an award for best blues recording in 1997 plus an IBC nomination in Memphis for the best blues recording from the Minnesota Blues Society in 2013.He will also be inducted into The Minnesota Blues hall of Fame October 17th, 2021.

Licciardi (percussion) began hand drumming in 2013 at the age of 69 with a djembe and various cajons. After 25 years of studying and performing classical piano, she found that the rhythmic syncopation required to master complex pieces made her a natural percussionist. Her playing is influenced by the African music she promoted while living in Rochester, NY in the 90s, and more recently, by the music she heard while visiting, and later living in New Orleans.

The couple met in 2012 when they were both living in The Big Easy, and began playing together a year later. In 2014, they married and now travel and play around the US, Europe and Mexico -- unplugged but with the exuberance and full sound of a band. Their 400-song repertoire will have you snapping your fingers and tapping your toes...
