The UpScale Band

The UpScale Band is an eight-piece party band that excites and energizes audiences of all ages. UpScale’s sound is influenced by various genres of music such as Funk, R&B, Motown, Pop, Rock, Country, Caribbean and Jazz.

UpScale has performed at musical festivals, corporate events, government functions, sorority and fraternity conventions, holiday/themed celebrations, weddings, parties and private functions all over.

The band was founded in the Greater Atlanta Area by lead vocalist, Mark Anthony Alexander in 2009. Mark Anthony has been singing his entire life and has shared the stage with many famous acts such as Sammy Davis Jr., and Klymaxx to name a few.

The standard band includes five musicians (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and percussionist), three vocalists, and a sound engineer. However, we are fully customizable and can add a full horn section and DJ.

• REQUIREMENTS/ADDITIONAL:
If you have song request for your event, they must be submitted at least six weeks in advance at a 5 song minimum. The rest of the songs for your event will be what's fitting for the type of event, being R&B, Soul, Country. Jazz or period music, 60's 70's etc.
