'BKS' has even reached as far away as Indonesia. The Members of Our Band are well versed in many genres of music, ranging from Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Rock just to name a few..... Individually they have acquired many different accolades in the areas of Music Education, Live Performance, Video & Record Production. 'BKS' has opened for &/or shared the stage with the likes of Dru Hill, Kelly Price, Monica, The Dells, Levert, the Roots, Musiq Soulchild, LL Cool J, Bunny Sigler, Miles Jaye, Alyson Williams, Ray, Goodman & Brown, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Stylistics, Al B. Sure, The Intruders, Marvin Winans, Carol Riddick, Jaguar Wright Kindred The Famil Soul and Eric Roberson. Best Kept Soul is a world-traveled, established dance and performance band with over 14 yrs together as a unit. This Wilmington DE-based group maintains a schedule and following that demands weekly appearances up and down the Mid-Atlantic region for public and private events. The band's core sound is based on R&B grooves, but their repertoire encompasses everything from rock/pop to reggae/afro-beat, to hip hop and Motown. With great vocalists and superb musicianship, BKS packs experience and the sound of decades of the best music into this 6 piece ensemble.

I saw them for the first time when I was visiting my family in Wilmington, DE at a Thai restaurant on the Riverfront and they were explosive!! They even let me sing! I was so nervous but very honored. I actually sang with this band that is out of this world!! They should be playing all over the world because the world needs to see them!
